The video/audio files of the game are located inside the included virtual disk file. This download's disc image is set up for DOSBox and we need to mount the image into a pretend drive. This image file is not the same as a regular .iso file. The pretend (virtual) drive is built into DOSox but we need to set it up first. Here are the commands I run to play this game. I am assuming you have a typical windows 10 PC setup and you know how to move files out of the zip file you just downloaded.
I suggest moving the uncompressed folder to c:. I am not a DOSbox expert by any means. I just happened to make this work and saw others needed help. Anything bracketed with means to hit the button on your keyboard. Don't include ' ' when we are specifying locations either.
Enter these commands to the DOSBox command line when you first start it up.
mount c c:'Wherever you stored the files on your hard drive'
IMGMOUNT E C:'Wherever you stored the files'cdSIMCITY_REV.img -t iso
Now visit your simcity folder using some basic DOS commands. c:, cd, and dir. Time to get DOS savy. Once in the simcitye folder you should see scsetup.exe. The commands should look like. c:
cd simcitye
scsetup
Now we need to change the path for video and path for audio to match the location in the pretend (virtual) CD drive. Type C and change the path to 'E:simcityvideo' and make D match. They are the same place. Press to accept your current config. Press to save the changes.
Now we should be back at the command prompt.
Type 'play ' and the game should start. The video may take a few seconds to load.
The default cpi speed is 3000. Press ctrl + F12 several times to speed it up to around 20k. This makes the game playable.

COOLDUDE2019- You have to use DosBox, or some other similar DOS emulation program. DosBox is highly rated.

So I can't get this thing to work cause I'm running Windows 7 (Service Pack 1) and it says 'Unsupported 16-bit application' Can someone help me???
